How to Display Text Message Before Logon. If you want, we can display a text message before logon. Logon process will stop when a text message is displayed and will continue after we are done click "OK". With this feature, we can write something that can be an important message or warning that we may be addressed to users who use our computers are. By tinkering with the registry, we can do with ease. The steps are as follows.

First, run regedit by clicking [Start]>> [Run] then type "regedit" (without the quotes) then ENTER or OK so it will appear the windows Registry Editor.

Second, click the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon

Third, later in the right pane, double click on the "LegalNoticeCaption" then edit string box will appear, like the screenshot below.

Fourth, on the string edit box, type a string value that we want to show the menubar and then followed by clicking OK.

Fifth, then also double click on the "LegalNoticeText" who then edit string box will appear, like the screenshot below.

Sixth, on the box, write the messages that we want and then proceed by clicking OK.

Seventh, to see the results, restart the computer.

Eighth, is complete.
