iPhone tips and trick
By default, your iPhone saves a copy of every message you send out, which after awhile can bog down the mail server. To dispatch unnecessary sent items, tap the Email icon from the Home screen, tap the Mailboxes icon in the upper-left corner to go to the main email menu (if not there already), tap Sent Mail, tap Edit from the upperright corner of the screen, and tap the circle to the left of every message you want to delete. Finally, tap the Delete button at the bottom of the screen. If you have multiple email accounts on your iPhone, you may find a different Sent Items folder for each email account, so make sure to repeat the procedure for every Sent Items folder. If you’re an active MobileMe user, you can also clean out your Sent Items from your computer via the Web. Launch a browser and navigate to, log in using your MobileMe username and password, click the Mail icon, click Sent, and then select the messages you want to delete. You can do this quickly by clicking the first message in your sent items folder, scrolling to the bottom, holding the Shift key, and then clicking the last message. Click the Delete button from the top of the screen. Now, the next time your iPhone syncs with your MobileMe account, the sent items will be deleted there, too.
