➤ With the $390 million buyout of Anobit Technologies, Apple has continued its ongoing series of relatively small acquisitions. Based in Israel, Anobit manufactures the flash memory component Apple uses for its iPhone devices. In addition to the manufacturing capabilities it gained from the deal, Apple gained a workforce of engineers. Aside from confirming the acquisition, an Apple spokesperson did not comment on any other details of the acquisition.
