➤ Palo Alto, Calif.,-based HP recently announced new “technology agnostic” BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) analytics services, now available as a standalone product or as part of HP’s existing BPO solutions. Dubbed HP Business Analytics Services, the product is designed to gather and analyze structured and unstructured data in order to deliver only the appropriate and most useful data required for certain decisions and other tasks. When describing the service for a press announcement, Danila Meirlaen, HP’s VP of BPO, cited the need “to turn this Big Data into actionable insights,” and added, “HP provides the hardware and software for firms to utilize Big Data, and is offering experienced analytic professionals to help clients structure and run a sustainable datadriven decision-making framework that drives competitive advantage.”
